Mike Martz-"it's a great feeling to be in first place in the division, but with the NFL you never know what's going to happen. You can be in first one week and then be in last another week. So we are just going to take it week by week game by game. I'm proud of our guys and hope we can keep this up. Our defense played outstanding shut down the Saints offense and Leonard had a great game. Marc and the offense did what they always do it was a all-round good win. But we will keep our heads focused on the next game and enjoy this win now and get back to work on Tuesday.

Dennis Green-"well it's unacceptable. You can't start a season without a win you can play as bad as us and think you are going to win games out there. We need to step up in every area. I would say that I'm impressed with how well our young receivers are playing though. Larry and Anquan have played lights out. They have been the bright spot on this team. The rest of the team needs to play like these young guys and learn from them. Cause the losing needs to stop. I'm just so disappointed with our play and....... I don't know."

Dennis Erickson-"Ken played well out there today. I was really proud of how he kept his poise and was calm through all his check downs. He played well for it being his first start. Yes I know we lost the game but what I saw from Ken today it gives me hope that, if he can keep playing at this level things will change in a good way for us.

Brett Favre-"well yeah sure every lose hurts but it's still early in the season and we have time to fix things up and getting them working in the right direction. Plus when you have e a guy like Peyton putting up a crazy amount of yards it's hard to keep up with that. You make one mistake and that's it he will bury you and keep on with his day. We will watch film and learn what we did wrong on both sides and go from there."

Randy Moss-"I would say it was a great game. Anytime you can go for over 200 yards on a good defense you have to feel  good about your play. Heck anytime you do that to any team your going to feel good. But Chicago gave us some looks that went in our favor I was able to to find an opening on some routes and Daute and me were able to take advantage of it. But we need to keep playing like this if we want to stay atop of this division. All I know is if you get me the ball like today we can't lose."

Matt Millen-"well first off I want to say that Charles is ok he isn't hurt or anything and that during halftime he got into with acoach and Steve thought that is would be best to bench him the rest of game. I agree with Steve and sometimes you need time to cool off and get a calmer head. Yes I get that Rodgers was made about how the team was playing but you never go after a head coach. That is just something we will not tolerate here. So we will see how he does in practice this week and hope he can keep his head on. As for the team it's simple we are struggling right now. Just 1 win in our last 3 games is just unacceptable. The team and coaches know it and we need to play better. That simple. We need to stop turning the ball over and we can not let guys score touchdown after touchdown on us. We know we are better than this and we just need to show it."

Lovie Smith-"well right now Rex is our quarterback we might look at our others guys doing practice this week but as of right now Rex is our guy. He did some good things against the Vikings and he almost made a comback for us. He is only in his 3rd year so he is still getting use to things and learn new stuff. But if and when the time comes and we need to change we will see what kind of position we are in buy right now it's early in the season. And we aren't making any changes at QB."

The players of the week for week 3 are Peyton Manning who had a great game against on his way to winning maybe another MVP? Can he win 2 in a row. If he keeps having games like this he just might be able to do it. The other offensive player of the week was Michael Vick. Who came back from being knocked out in his last game and the Falcons losing to him returning and leading the Falcons to a convincing win over the Cardinals. The defensive players of the week had themselves great games. Champ Bailey of the Denver Broncos was able to lead his team to a victory. He did everything you could ask for and anything you needed he did to try to win that game for his team. Now Leonard Little had one heck of a defensive game for a defensive linemen. He was able to get to Aaron Brooks 4 times. He was not going to be stopped today. They Saints linemen did what they could to hold him back but nothing was enough to hold him back.
